Nayed Meets with the French Special Envoy on the Latest Developments in Libya

Presidential candidate and Chairman of Ihya Libya, Dr. Aref Nayed, met virtually earlier today with Mr. Paul Soler, the Special Envoy of the French President to Libya, to discuss the following issues:

(a) The urgent need to preserve the sovereignty, unity, security and safety of Libyan citizens, their resources and livelihood, and end all forms of violence and armed conflict.

(b) The need to work with the new UN Envoy to revitalize the political process to ensure that Presidential and Parliamentary Elections take place urgently.

(c) The Ihya Libya Proposal to invoke the Libyan Judiciary to overcome the current political impasse, especially after the Supreme Court’s smooth leadership handover.
