Nayed and Soler Discuss Path to Elections

Chairman of Ihya Libya, Dr. Aref Nayed, met virtually with H.E. Paul Soler, the Special Envoy of the French President to Libya.
On Tuesday evening, Nayed and Soler discussed the imperative of respecting Libya’s will and institutions, and the importance of positively building on the 6 + 6 outputs. They positively welcome the work and the mediation of UNSMIL.
They also discussed the need for a unified government in order to prepare and pave the way for urgent presidential and parliamentary elections.
