Ihya Libya Movement’s Message on International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we greet all women working in their various fields, especially in the medical field, such as doctors, nurses, health care assistants, and activists, who have been steadfast in the front lines and leadership ranks to confront the Covid pandemic, and have played exceptional and distinguished roles.

Women have made enormous efforts everywhere in order to create a bright future and a happy present, despite all the difficult circumstances, troubles and obligations.

We call for fairness for women through laws, job opportunities, participation in decision-making, care, grants, and an end to abuse and violence against them.
