Chairman of the Ihya Libya, Ranked 46th in the global ranking of (the 500 most influential Muslims)

Dr. Aref Al-Nayed, head of the Ihya Libya Movement, is ranked 46th in the global ranking of the 500 most influential Muslims for 2022, in consideration of his diplomatic, training, and scientific contributions in the fields of faith, philosophy and dialogue of religions and civilisations.

Nayed was among the top 50 influential Muslim figures since the publication of the 500 Most Influential Muslims in 2009. Nayed ranked 50 (2018), 48 (2019), 47 (2020) and 46 (2021).

This yearly ranking is published by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre (MABDA), an independent research entity affiliated with The Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought (aalalbayt.org). It is an independent international Islamic non-governmental organisation, headquartered in Amman, the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
