Chairman of Ihya Libya meets with Speaker of the Libyan Parliament

This morning, Monday, January 15, the Chairman of the Ihya Libya, Dr Aref Nayed met with the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, His Excellency Counselor Agila Saleh, at his headquarters in Al-Qubba, where Dr. Nayed briefed Counselor Agila on his recent engagements with societal, regional and international actors.

The meeting also touched on the importance of urgently initiating procedures for forming a new mini-technocratic government, focusing all its efforts on implementing electoral and parliamentary obligations, according to the timelines and mechanisms specified in the decisions of the joint committee between the House of Representatives and the State Council (6+6), which became a binding law of the land upon their issuance by Parliament.
