A Statement of Welcome and Support

The Ihya Libya (Reviving Libya) Movement congratulates the Libyan people on the vital progress achieved through coordination and consensus between a significant number of members of the House of Representatives and members of the High Council of State—which exceeded in total the number of those who met and agreed at Skhirat.
The Ihya Libya Movement supports fully all the points mentioned in the press release issued today on the first expanded meeting between the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State that is set to take place on 28-29 February 2024.
We salute all colleagues from other Libyan parties, civil society organizations, and social fabric councils who rallied around these decisions.
We also call on all stakeholders to move forward in building positively and optimistically on these important intra-Libyan agreements, in the service of the country and towards alleviating the plight of the Libyan people.
