Libya\u2019s public sector currently provides poor quality services, lacks transparency, and is not accountable to the people. These challenges are a direct result of the debilitated governance institutions that Libya inherited from the previous regime. Putting the country on the path to sustainable development requires the government to provide essential services to all citizens and municipalities to operate in an efficient, effective, transparent, and accountable manner.<\/span><\/p>\n
